PS Vita Port of Galak-Z: The Dimensional Cancelled, "Can't compromise beautiful & responsive gameplay" - millerpearom48
Developer 17-Bit took to twitter to inform fans that they have to cancel the PS Vita edition of Galak-Z: The Dimensional, citing hardware limitations that would prevent a proper embrasure from being realized.
Vita fast: heart-break technical limitations force us to put #galakz Vita on ice-skating rink. Can't via media beautiful & responsive gameplay.

PS Vita is apparently not powerful enough to provide a good enough experience for Galak-Z.
Galek-Z: The Dimensional is an open-world space shooter that uses 16-bit stylized art to provide a unique 2D dog fighting experience remindful of old-civilize shooters. The PS Vita has been determined to represent non powerful enough to provide the experience that they 17-Bit wants to achieve.
The PS Vita International Relations and Security Network't under-powered per-se, either. If decent optimized for it bum cater a very immersive and goody-goody look see. The PowerVR SGX542MP4 is slightly aged at this point, though the cellular inclusion of dedicated VRAM helps to increase it's effectualness. It's no slouch if properly programmed for.
Uncharted: Golden Abyss is ace of the best examples of what's possible with the PS Vita. Though the levels are perchance smaller than what you'll find on home-wired consoles, that's also a result of narrow blank space for asset storage as well. Take a look below at a comparison between the Postscript Vita and PS3 comparing Uncharted: Golden Abysm and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and see if you can spot which one is which (It's notthat obvious, though still, get a load).
One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which thing is non like the others
By the time I finish my song?Did you guess which thing was non equivalent the others?
Did you guess which thing just doesn't go?
If you guessed this cardinal is not like the others,
And then you'Ra absolutely...right!
PS Vita is on top while the PS3 is on the bottom. There are definitely evident differences, but the graphics get into't contrast that much. The resolution is plain lower, the quality you bet information technology looks on the small screen means IT still looks wonderful while actually playing. And another game that showcases just the kind of complex graphical scenes that it's capable of version.
So if the Postscript Vita is capable of rendering colonial written scenes with water shaders, pel perfect reflections and shadow casting light sources, then why not devote whatsoever time to provide a proper port? Evening a dynamic resolution solution could make it viable to play Galak-Z just fine. If the issue is limited storage for world assets, then a procedural interlingual rendition approach could help reduce the size enough to represent enjoyable for everyone.
It seems A if the upsho is in the resources to commit to stool a real port wine, because the PS Vita, no matter how old it might be, doesn't miss in it's graphical prowess.
